I have loved animals all my life. I grew up in the countryside of western New York (go Bills!) and my family owned dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and more throughout my childhood. I took care of my neighbors farm animals and pets growing up, volunteered at animal shelters and a dog training school throughout undergrad and grad school, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh’s MSc program in Applied Animal Behaviour & Animal Welfare in 2020! Since the beginning of 2021, I have been hiking and training small packs of dogs in parks in DC for an awesome woman-owned business called Happy Hikers. All of this has led to my decision to launch Spotty Paws Pet Services, LLC to help local, Virginia pet owners have better experiences and build stronger bonds with their pets!
